Launch of the Tunisia Country Report on out-of-school children
Tunis, 17 April, 2015 - The Ministry of Education and UNICEF Tunisia launched their country report on out-of-school children at a conference attended by over 150 participants. The report is part of the global Out-of-School Children Initiative (OOSCI), launched by UNICEF and the UNESCO Institute for Statistics in 2010.
The country launch came two days after the launch of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) OOSCI Regional Report and is one of nine country reports in the region. Other countries who have participated in the region include Algeria, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Sudan and Yemen.
